If all the fes­tive fare seems a bit much, make a date with an Ital­ian in West Malling. Re­cently opened Amano in Swan Street is an Ital­ian restau­rant opened in the Grade II listed, re­fur­bished for­mer home of the Lob­ster­pot, launched by Nick Le­van­tis and Dar­ryl Healy, also be­hind nearby The Swan.

The build­ing also has four bou­tique ho­tel rooms up­stairs.

Their new­est of­fer­ing is brunch with an Ital­ian twist and bot­tom­less pros­ecco. The brunch, rus­tled up by head chef Fabio Mos­chini, can be en­joyed in the Or­angery court­yard din­ing room un­der a glass roof. Din­ers can choose from a se­lec­tion of brunch dishes in­clud­ing the Amano Break­fast Fo­cac­cia, Ital­ian sausage, pancetta, sauteed spinach, tomato, mush­rooms and eggs, Gra­nola pan­na­cotta, fresh berries and homemade gra­nola and as se­lec­tion of Fo­cac­cia in­clud­ing Fiorentina with poached eggs, spinach & San Marzano hol­landaise sauce, Benedette with poached eggs, ham & San Marzano hol­landaise sauce. Brunch dishes will be com­pli­mented by un­lim­ited pros­ecco dur­ing the hour and a half sit­ting.

The bot­tom­less brunch costs £20 per per­son in­clud­ing bot­tom­less pros­ecco and one dish from the menu.
