What is the best thing about the town? It’s very convenient because the transport links into and around Ashford are so good. It also has all of the best shops. What would you say to a visitor to encourage them to come to Ashford? It’s got things for every taste - so you can always find something you’re interested in. The bowling alley is very good, and so are the Designer Outlet and Victoria Park. What are your favourite shops, bars and restaurants in Ashford? Debenhams is great (obviosuly), and other high street shops like New Look, H&M and River Island are also good. I really like Chiquito’s at the Eureka Leisure Park too, it’s got a great atmosphere. What is the best tourist attraction in the town? I would say the Designer Outlet is the best, particularly if you love shopping. Where is your one favourite place in Ashford? Either the Eureka Leisure

Park or Victoria Park. What makes Ashford stand out from other towns? The housing is very affordable and the shops are very good. What has changed about Ashford most over the years? There has certainly been an increase in the

number of houses being built. What needs improving in the town? The rents in County Square - there are lots of empty units and many shops are relocating out of town. Could you see yourself living in Ashford for the rest of your life? No, I would like to move sometime. Do you feel proud to live in Ashford? Not really, there are too many negative aspects about it.
