Darren Pugh led from the front again with bat and ball as Championship East leaders Mersham Sports made it six wins out seven with an emphatic 106-run win at Cobham.
The skipper followed up his ton of the week before, with 57 and bowling figures of 6-29 as the Ashford villagers maintained their impressive start, stretching their lead at the top to 22 points.
Opener Tom Butt made 51 in Mersham’s 234-8, a total which, thanks to Pugh’s efforts, proved too much for the home side as they slipped from 82-2 to 128 all out.
Joe Elgar just missed out on a maiden hundred as Wye got back to winning ways with a 45-run Division 1 A victory at Sheppey.
The win ended a run of three successive defeats, earning the visitors a 20-point maximum.
Elgar cracked 17 fours in his 92 before holing out in the deep and was the mainstay of his side’s 224-6.
Raj Mahadevaiah made 33 before James Chamberlain (37) and Matt Leclere (23) added 64 in the final 10 overs.
Ian Lewis (2-36) dismissed both Sheppey openers cheaply before captain Mark Shannon (4-42) took two wickets to leave the hosts 36-4.
Leclere sent back Kevin Barnes (35), before Shannon and Secrett (240) mopped up the tail as Sheppey were dismissed for 179. Bob Phillips top scored with 44 as Selsted (161-4) won by 44 runs at home to Dover Cosmopolitans (160-8) in Division 1B East.

Willesborough (101) went down by six wickets at Hawkinge (102-4) in 2B East.
Craig Harding hit 53 as Stowting (225) were beaten by 42 runs at East Langdon (267-7) in 1B East.
