Spa team strikes gold at health and beauty awards
The owner and staff of an Ashford spa are celebrating after winning a top award.
Clare Singleton and her team at the Granary Spa in Great Chart were delighted to win the Kent Spa of the Year 2015 title at the Kent Health and Beauty Awards.
The awards ceremony took place at the Great Danes Hotel in Maidstone on Wednesday June 10.
The spa is based in a converted Victorian Granary.
The business began life at Ashford’s Stour Leisure Centre, where it was based for eight years, before moving to Great Chart in September 2012.
Clare said: “I am so very proud of my wonderful team who work tirelessly to ensure that every client experience is five star.
“We strive to deliver this time and time again, by taking noth- ing for granted, and putting all our energy into each and every client.
“We started out with myself and Sharleen Lind, our talented spa manager, and have grown to a team of 13 within this very short time.
“Our guests continually return to the Granary Spa because t hey enjoy well trained and dedicated therapists together with a beautiful environment in which to relax.”
In 2014, Clare Singleton was selected as Kent Business Woman of the Year.

She had been nominated for her determination, business growth and consistent focus on customer service, which has seen her customer base more than double since the spa moved to Great Chart.
