Come along and see £30m hospital for yourselves
Residents are invited to an open day at the new £30 million private hospital recently built next to the William Harvey Hospital.
The One Ashford Hospital, in Kennington Road, has been built by Conlon Construction, funded by Octopus Healthcare and will be run by One Healthcare.
The developers are offering a tour of the facilities, free health checks and a chance to meet some of the staff at the open day on Thursday, March 3, from 9am to 4pm.
Adrian Stevensen, One Healthcare CEO, said: “People will be welcome to take a look around the hospital and sample food created by our on-site chefs.”
The private hospital will have 10 consulting rooms, four operating theatres, four treatment rooms, an endoscopy suite, 20 en-suite rooms, 10 ambulatory care beds and an MRI and imaging suite.
One Healthcare spokesman says it works with all recognised private medical insurance providers and also offers competitive self-pay rates.

“One Healthcare has a keen eye for detail and quality, so we are really proud to have been appointed to deliver this hospital.
“We are currently in the final stages of the construction programme and over the coming weeks will be completing the external works, final snagging and commissioning.
“We are very much looking forward to seeing the clinically cleaned rooms complete with furniture and equipment when we hand over in the next few weeks.”
