Hard work pays for off for trio at property company
South East land and property experts BTF Partnership has promoted three members of the team to associate director level, in recognition of their experience, knowledge, hard work and dedication to the firm.
Tom Wilson is based in the Challock office and is well known, particularly in Kent, as an expert in the Basic Payment Scheme (BPS), Stewardship and environmental grant scheme.
He studied Agricultural Business Management at Wye College and joined BTF in 2007, where he gained a broad knowledge of rural surveying training with Mike Bax.
He qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2010 and as a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers in 2012. Since then, while continuing as a general practice surveyor, he has built strong relation- ships with Natural England and specialises in advising on the workings of the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) and BPS.
Alex Cornwallis is also a member of the rural team based in the firm’s Challock office.
He joined BTF in 2010 having studied at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, and qualified as a surveyor in May 2014.
He now works mainly on the agency side of the business, with director Richard Thomas, and has been instrumental in securing several major sales over the last year.
He also undertakes a broad range of professional work and has a number of estate management clients throughout Kent.
Richard Sabin is based in BTF’s Canterbury office. He joined BTF in May 2011 and assists with all disciplines in the commercial department.
He read history at Reading University and completed a Masters in commercial property at Kingston University and has qualified as a member of the RICS.
