Dickson signs long-term deal
Sean Dickson has pledged his future to Kent by signing a long-term contract extension with the club.
The 24-year-old batsman achieved his career best score this season – 207 not out in the Specsavers County Championship win at Derbyshire – and averages 49.75 this campaign in red-ball cricket.
Dickson said: “I’ve enjoyed my time at Kent so far and I had no hesitation in extending my contract. The club gave me a great opportunity and I’d like to think there’s more to come from me.
“There’s a good bunch of guys in the dressing room and I’m confident we can win trophies together.”
Academy graduate Zak Crawley, 18, has also earned a contract extension.

Third-placed Kent are up against Gloucestershire at Bristol (Tuesday start) seeking to close a 24-point gap to leaders Essex in their final four fixtures – the last of which is against Essex at Canterbury.
Essex are in action against second-placed Leicestershire, who began the week just a point ahead of Kent.
On Wednesday (August 31) Kent face Sussex at Hove in their final four-day away game, with Northants visiting Beckenham next month (September 6) before Essex head to Canterbury on September 20.
