Bromley Green will play White Horse in the final in March after both emerged victorious in their respective semis.

The sides only joined the league in the summer and can now go into the Christmas break looking forward to a cup final in the new year.

Bromley Green were made to work for their place after they came back from going behind to league leaders Ashstone Galacticos before winning 5-2.

Sam Wilson put Ashstone ahead after just five minutes only for Green’s Matt Wedge to level.

Wedge then put Bromley Green in front the first time from the penalty spot before James Haylock-Ashdown made it 3-1.

Josh Knight pulled a goal back before half-time to make it 3-2 as Galacticos piled on the pressure – but they came unstuck in front of goal, missing several chances.

The Charing Heath side were then made to pay when Haylock- Ashdown scored his second goal five minutes from time to restore Green’s two-goal advantage, before Wedge completed his hat-trick in the last minute.

At Swan Lane in Sellindge, White Horse proved too strong for an inform Stour Valley side, running out 4-0 winners to qualify for the final.

Jamie White netted a hat-trick for White Horse, adding to Billy Bean’s strike, Grant Field keeping out the hosts at the other end with a clean sheet. their squad, Burton picked up another three points thanks to goals from Mark Osbourne, Kieran Leppard and Reece David that sees them go 13 points clear.

Willesboro­ugh, who stay in seventh place, could have moved up to as high as third with a win but were just beaten despite strikes from Jack Sullivan and Aaron Negus.
