Ashford Barbarians

Dave Squire’s try and two penaltes and a conversion by skipper and fly-half Jason Potter were Ashford Barbarians’ scorers as they lost 24-13 at Dover Sharks 4ths in Dragon Fire 4 West. They conceded two quick tries before earning themselves a hold in the game with some solid phase play. Potter kicked two penalties, the second launched from halfway line, hitting the crossbar before going over. Baa Baas maintained their attacking momentum taking them close to the Sharks five-metre line. Squire charged over for their only try, Potter adding the conversion. Baa Baas continued to press, having the majority of possession but mistakes cost them the chance of adding further points. Dover scored another try to close out the game.
