Harry Goddard scored twice as Kennington drew 3-3 at Lydd Town Reserves on Saturday.

Joe Fisher added the other goal with Joey Tibble (2), and Tom Morgans on target for the hosts.

In Division 1, Roy Godden netted for second-placed New Romney in their 1-1 draw at Deal Community Sports.

Top scorer Riley Alford was on target as Willesboro­ugh Athletic reached the Kent Junior Cup, Group A quarter-finals, beating Division 3 outfit HF Paulista and Ten-Em-Bee 5-4 after extra-time – the teams having finished 3-3 after 90 minutes.

Steve Cowell, Jamie Hurst, Ollie Perkins and substitute Dean Wallington added the other goals for Willesboro­ugh.

Ashford bowed out of the same competitio­n, beaten 5-3 by a strong Rochester & District League side, Peninsula Sports

They fielded several academy players in their line-up along with Tom Penfold, Ronnie Mews and Lebert Chanyawu.

Former Ashford Town player Paul Giles has joined the club as match-day team manager.

He has already been involved in several training sessions and will work closely with Stephane Ollier in the club’s quest to produce talented youngsters.

Fitness instructor Marcus Digby has also linked up with the club to work on a training programme.

Aurin Johnson grabbed a hat-trick as New Romney Reserves reached the last eight in Group B, winning 3-2 at another Rochester & District League side, Tekkers. Dave Law and Richard Moon both scored twice as Smarden won 6-3 at Bromley Green to replace the hosts as Premier Division leaders. Morgan Howson and Ben Forbes added Smarden’s other goals, with Jordan Griffin, Tom Armstrong and Reece Hagger netting for Green. Josh Beeching also hit two goals as Lydd Town 3rds drew 3-3 at home to Ashford Dynamo in the division’s other game. In Division 1, Jamie Thornton, Elliot Symonds and Laine Yeomans netted for Folkestone Disability in their 3-3 draw against Hythe Grovellers. Arron Cook got two for Grovellers. Tyler Loosemore, George Stainton and Joe Farrant were on target as Rolvenden Reserves won 3-1 at Tenterden Town in the Weald of Kent Charity Cup. Kieran Lynn, Harry Yates, Steve Johnson and Paul Barron earned Kennington a 4-2 win over Ashford Athletic Reserves in the League Cup.
