Who will be this year’s winners?

The battle of the brainiacs will begin this Saturday from 7pm at the KM Big Charity Quiz.

And the big question is ..... which team will claim victory from those competing at the Ashford International Hotel in Simone Weil Avenue.

They will win the quiz trophy and a place in the county final.

Last year Ashford-based Stargating Across the Quiziverse were neck-and-neck with Medway’s Supernova with 58 points before the Stargaters took the top spot with a sudden-death tie-break question.

Organised by the KM Charity Team, the quiz will feature a prize-packed raffle with Hornby collectables among the range of goodies up for grabs.

One lucky quiz-goer will be selected to answer an on-thespot quiz question to win a pair of Eurostar tickets.

The popular Spitfire charity bar will be fully stocked by long-time KM Big Quiz supporter Shepherd Neame, and volunteers from Office Angels will act as runners for the evening.

Other businesses backing the event include Specsavers, Barclays, and Hallett and Co.

Funds will go to the Kentish Express’s charity of the year, the East Kent Hospitals Charity Eementia Appeal, and children’s road safety and literacy services will also take a share.
