An unsuspecting lottery player from Ashford has an unclaimed winning ticket worth more than £90,000, it has been revealed.
The EuroMillions prize worth £90,509.70 has not yet been claimed after the ticket was bought in the town last month.
Lottery players are now being urged to check and double check their tickets for the chance to claim the big prize.
The owner of the winning ticket matched the five main numbers and one “lucky star” number in the draw made on Friday, June 16
he winning EuroMillionsT numbers on that date were 15, 17, 38, 41, 42 and the lucky star numbers were 9 and 12.
The lucky ticket-holder has until Wednesday, December 13, to claim their prize.
I f no one comes f orward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline the prize money and generated interest will go towards helping National Lottery-funded projects.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings. This amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We’re urging everyone who bought a EuroMillions ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
