Ashford Town 2nds earned 10 points from a winning draw at home to fellow Division 5 strugglers Shooters Hill on Saturday. Skipper Neil Tegg (41 not out) and James Rodway (36) added 59 for the seventh wicket in a total of 261-8 declared, Town having been 82-4 at one stage. Robin Bailey’s unbeaten century kept Shooters Hill in the game, before the south Londoners finished on 221-2, falling 40 runs short.
