Ready to Connect with the community
A new community centre will open early next year.
Repton Connect, which has been funded by developer contributions, will feature a large hall and multi-use games area which could be used for football.
It is being built next to Repton Manor Primary School in Repton Avenue.
Ashford Borough Council spokesman Christina Bailey said: “It is making great progress and the building is really taking shape. Much of the interior work is taking place in the next couple of weeks.
“Repton Connect will include meeting rooms and will also have space to host activities such as sports clubs, educational courses, cooking workshops and social events, and there will be provision for on-site parking too.
“We anticipate the centre opening early in 2018.”
