Children meet MP on guided tour of nursery

Children and staff at the Busy Bees nursery in Lockholt Close, Godinton Park, welcomed an important visitor.

Ashford MP and deputy Prime Minister Damian Green was taken on a guided tour where he had an opportunity to see the care that is provided.

As well as seeing some of the children’s favourite activities first hand, Mr Green also had a chance to meet a selection of parents.

Manager Emma Archer said: “We were so pleased to welcome such a special guest. The children and staff loved having a chance to show off the nursery to visitors.

“We hope Mr Green enjoyed his visit as much as we all did.”

Mr Green, said: “I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the nursery which is providing high-quality care and education for the children of Ashford.

“It was all the more enjoyable as both my daughters attended a Busy Bees nursery.”
