Ashford Five-a-side League leaders Locomotive were too powerful for secondplaced McDonalds in the first round of the Knockout Cup, winning 3-0. A Bobby Godden double and a strike from Paul Longman helped New Inn to a 3-2 victory over Ashvegas – the winning goal coming in the last minute. F.C.S drew 2-2 with All Stars but went through 5-2 after a penalty shootout, with Barry Arnold scoring three and Jon Hunt two. Sliders edged Spartans 1-0, while Stour Centre beat All Stars B 2-0 and Lolzors got past Libyans by the same score.
