New scanning studio opens

-

A pregnancy scanning studio is set to open in the town centre this month.

Blossoms Baby Bump moved into an empty unit on the ground floor of the County Square last year.

Services include pregnancy scans in 2D, 3D and 4D.

The company hosted a soft launch in November, which was attended by Mayor of Ashford Jessamy Blanford.

Midwife and owner of the business, Vivian Kuteyi, is waiting for approval from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The shop is expected to open fully this month.

Ms Kuteyi, who has worked as a nurse for 11 years and a midwife for four, will host antenatal classes and baby showers from the town centre spot.

The mum-of-two said: “It was so exciting to welcome pregnant ladies here on our three-day soft launch back in November and to be able to look after them at such a special time and we are really looking forward to continuing this once we open officially.

“I feel that I am engaging with the community.”
