Paul’s early Christmas gift!

If Santa is reading this, sea angler Paul Steen Martin, while fishing Hythe, would like to say thank you for his 4lb codling Christmas present. This year, here in the south east, they are about as rare as a visit from Santa.

Plenty of rays and plaice are showing from most venues when the sea is calm and clear.

This also, at least during daylight, seems to put the hordes of small whiting off, so give your bait a good chance to be found by something better.
