The ‘Disunited Kingdom’ looms

I have seen intelligent adults weeping during the course of participating in a debate about the threat Britain is now facing as a result of Brexit.

Last weekend, I received a

“with sympathy” card from Germany which expressed deepest concern at the potential loss of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

There is also a distinct possibility of the break-up of the UK should this happen. If the UK does become separate unities, what should it be called?

My contacts in various parts of Europe and also in the UK are deeply saddened and dismayed at the mess the UK is now finding itself in.

All of them once regarded Great Britain with tremendous respect. But not anymore, they don’t!
