Don’t insult people for trying

Week after week we get the rather rancid letters from Colin Bullen.

I do not expect (or hope) that every one of your readers will agree with my views but to publish on a weekly basis the deeply unpleasant views of Mr Bullen seems a bit over the top.

As an ‘over 70’ reader, I sympathise with Mr Bullen’s sadness at our once great country being relegated to non-league economic failure.

However, he should not insult the people who have tried to keep us in the Premier League.
