Not every issue black and white

As it is the season of goodwill, it seems appropriate to extend good wishes to your correspondents, and particularly Colin Bullen, who seems to have dedicated much of his year to writing to the KM to entertain and inform us.

His trenchant views clearly upset a number of your other contributors but long may that continue.

I’d like to think he has a wicked sense of humour but whether or not that is true, it is far better to have a rich debate than to be “cancelling” him.

One plea to your correspondents for 2021. Please try to hold back on the sweeping generalisations or the general moans. Constructive suggestions for change and a willingness to recognise that the world is not just black and white is much more interesting.
