Stick to rules to stop Covid

Neil Cox’s letter (December 30) cannot go without comment.

Covid spreads from person to person. Sometimes this is hard to stop in households and the workplace but it can be hugely reduced by the whole population keeping distance from others and wearing a mask the whole time when passing others as in the high street, queuing outside Costa or on the seafront.

We are one of the few countries who don’t have this as law and one of the few where we rarely see our politicians wearing masks

Covid is real, it is something to be frightened of and we can all help by observing the guidance.
