M20 to close

The coastbound M20 in Ashford is set to be shut overnight for three weeks from Monday.

Highways England says its contractors will be carrying out resurfacing and stud replacement work during the closures.

It will see the coastbound side between Junction 9 and Junction 10a close from 8pm to 6am.

Bosses say port-bound traffic affected by the closures will be diverted onto the A249, M2 and A2.

Local traffic will be able to use the A28, A2042 and A2070.
