Showing a bit of pride isn’t difficult

- Ted Prangnell

As my mother used to say: he can’t make a mess without doing ajob.

On the Little Burton Farm estate, there was a stretch of hedge along George Williams Way which needed cutting back, which some thoughtful body has recently attempted to do.

Their pruning would have been fine if only they hadn’t left behind the piles of litter which the cutting has exposed.

We shouldn’t have to look forward to the new growth of spring to hide our rubbish.

Whoever is responsible for that litter ought to do the decent thing, show a bit of pride, and gather it up.

PS: There is also a carpet, and another keep left bollard.
