Bullies finally facing demise?

-

Further to Charlotte Mbali’ s letter may I reiterate that travelling from the UK to Europe was never ‘friction less’ whilst an EU member and the majority of inconvenience, as now, was instigated by the French and other EU members’ industrial actions and the weather in the channel.

The present inconvenience and issues such as the confiscation of sandwich fillings, etc, are purely the EU being punitive toward the UK for having the audacity to leave their political union. They

are behaving like playground bullies.

The Remain campaign prior to the referendum offered no positives and managed, as a remainer, to swing my vote. Whilst in my professional career, I came across Exception Management which was a style where managers only looked at what was wrong rather than that which was right. It was considered the weakest form of management and criticism.

As I write, the UK has delivered in excess of 15 million Covid-19 vaccinations, whilst the rest of the EU is in disarray.

I honestly feel that we may be witnessing the beginnings of the demise of the EU and luckily by that time we shall be well versed in the completion of the odd piece of paperwork that could be the result.
