Theatre Caretaker

Grade: 02L2-03L3

Salary: £9.50 per hour

Hours of work: 20 per week (annualised)

Holiday entitlement: 20 days plus statutory holidays Notice period: One month

Purpose Of The Role

To assist in the building’s maintenance, repair and cleaning. To assist the Facilities Manager in keeping the building safe & compliant. To undertake and record regular, systematic checks (water temperatures, fire alarm etc). Locking & unlocking the building. Maintaining health and safety records.

The Candidate

We are looking for a motivated, conscientious and responsible individual to join the Hazlitt’s team. The successful candidate will help to support the maintenance, repair and cleaning of this busy venue. They will have previous experience of caretaking, (or carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and decorating to a competent level). COSHH experience is also desirable, as is previous cleaning experience. A high level of customer service is to be maintained at all times, as well as a positive outlook, and the ability to work flexibly, including unsociable hours
