MegaGrowth makes a welcome return

-

MegaGrowth 50 - the annual list of the fastest-growing businesses in the county - is returning.

Now in its 19th year, it took a break during the challenges brought about by the pandemic, and was replaced by the Sustainable Growth Awards.

Its performance table is put together based on the average turnover growth of privately owned businesses that have a minimum turnover of £1million, as stipulated in full accounts registered at Companies House across the last four years. All such firms will automatically be judged for the list.

Businesses with notable turnover growth over recent years that do not register full accounts at Companies House are also recognised and are invited to submit their accounts for consideration. The deadline for all entries is 5pm on June 1.

Compiled and sponsored by business advisors and accountants Kreston Reeves, co-sponsors are law firm Brachers and the KM Media Group.

Those making the list will be invited to a special breakfast presentation at the Tudor

Park Marriott Hotel, near Maidstone, on November 22.

Nigel Fright, managing partner at Kreston Reeves, said: “The USP of the MegaGrowth 50 awards is that unlike traditional business awards, it picks up fantastic success stories of businesses who don’t ever shout about it.”

Brachers’ head of corporate and commercial, James Bullock, added: “This year we’ll be celebrating those who have not only survived but thrived in the face of the recent challenging economic environment.”
