Is your dad a Star Wars fan? Maybe he prefers TV shows like Doctor Who, or perhaps classic films like Ghostbusters and Back To The Future. All tastes are sure to be catered for at Sci-Fi By the Sea on Father’s Day. A former Doctor Who, Colin Baker, will be there to meet fans, along with a host of other actors that have appeared in films ranging from Star Wars to Skyfall. Fans of the Time Lord can also look at a collection of classic Doctor Who props including a Tardis, Dalek, Cyberman and K-9. The UK Ghostbusters team will be bringing along their 40ft Marshmallow Man, the DeLorean car from the Back To The Future films will be on display and there’ll be more than 60 professional costumers to greet visitors, including Iron Man, Batman, Batwoman, Spiderman, Storm Troopers, Alien and Predator. There’s plenty for younger visitors to enjoy as well, including a visit from some fairy tale princesses, free face painting and a bouncy castle. There will also be the chance to try your hand at archery. There is live music throughout the day and more than 40 sci-fi related stalls.
