The Dickens Festival Players will be presenting a stage adaptation of A Tale of Two Cities as part of the festival. Set in London and Paris during the French Revolution, Dickens’ novel tells the plight of the French peasantry, demoralise­d by the aristocrac­y. The hardship suffered echoes life in London at the same time. See it at Broadstair­s’ Memorial Theatre from Saturday, June 15 to Wednesday, June 19. Performanc­es start at 7.30pm.
