Classic tale will be told
The Dickens Festival Players will be presenting a stage adaptation of A Tale of Two Cities as part of the festival. Set in London and Paris during the French Revolution, Dickens’ novel tells the plight of the French peasantry, demoralised by the aristocracy. The hardship suffered echoes life in London at the same time. See it at Broadstairs’ Memorial Theatre from Saturday, June 15 to Wednesday, June 19. Performances start at 7.30pm.
