See the wild animals as dusk falls

-

Fancy a really wild evening? A new series of twilight treks are being held at Howletts Animal Park, near Canterbury. It is opening its gates to visitors as dusk falls, every Wednesday throughout June. The walks will allow the public to watch some of the animals as they prepare for nightfall and spot native wildlife including bats as they come out to explore and feed after the park closes. Spokesman Mark Kingston Jones said: “These twilight treks are the perfect opportunity to explore after normal opening hours and will give visitors an insight into what happens at Howletts once everyone has gone home. “We think this will be really popular and it’s great to be able to offer an alternative evening activity with a wild twist.” Twilight treks will start at 7.15pm and finish at 8.30pm. Admission is £12. The treks take place on Wednesday, June 19 and Wednesday, June 24, and must be booked. Call 01303 264 647 or visit www.aspinallfoundation.org
