Darling dogs

Actress Pam Ferris will attending Hythe’s Bark in the Park on Saturday, June 15. Pam, who played Ma Larkin in popular 1990s TV series The Darling Buds of May, has agreed to present an award at the dog show, held in aid of Kent Greyhound Rescue. It takes place at The Green, and there will be 14 fun classes for all breeds. Registration starts at 10am, priced £2 per class, with judging from 11am. Homemade cakes and teas will be on offer along with doggy treats. Call 01303 271131.
