JEREMY’S FAMILY OF CRICKETING GREATS

-

Jeremy Cowdrey’s decision to get into the world of films is a first in his family, renowned for its cricketing prowess. His late father was Colin Cowdrey, pictured right, who captained Kent from 1957 to 1971, played 114 Test matches for England, 27 as captain, and was later made a life peer. Jeremy’s brother Chris captained both Kent and England, and his brother batsman Graham also played 179 first-class matches for the county. Now another Cowdrey has just made his Kent first team debut – Chris’s son Fabian.
