Here’s your chance to win a fam­ily ticket to Wild­wood. Wild­wood’s beaver fam­ily has a new ar­rival, a baby called Brook. Brook is a name for a small stream, which is ap­pro­pri­ate as beavers like to live in wa­ter. Beavers are the sec­ond largest ro­dent in the world and lived in Bri­tain un­til the 1700s when they were hunted to ex­tinc­tion for their fur. To­day, Wild­wood is work­ing to bring beavers back to the UK once more so that they can live wild in our rivers. At Wild­wood, the beaver fam­ily has its own den with view­ing panes so you can see them with­out dis­turb­ing them. Keep a look out for Brook and the rest of the fam­ily next time you visit the park.
