angels’ delight at festival

The Sarah Thorne Theatre Club Juniors explore Dickens’ perceptions of women in their themed production for Broadstairs Dickens Festival. The Kent author famously believed that a women should be ‘angels of the house’ and devote their lives to housekeeping and raising children. Audiences can meet some of Dickens’ best-loved female characters at the Memorial Theatre, St Peter’s Road, Broadstairs, at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 22, and at 2.30pm on Sunday, June 23.
