Festival of song and dance
The seventh Medway Love Music Hate Racism festival takes place this weekend. A host of local musicians and dancers will take to the stage at Chatham’s Command House on Saturday. This year’s headliners are Hobo Jones & the Junkyard Dogs, pictured above, who play wild acoustic versions of classic tunes, and local teenage singer Charlotte Rose Ellis. Other performers on the Main Stage will include Jade’s Street Dancers and Urban Steps, plus Pub Idol 2012 winner Nathan Banks. Admission is free to the event, which runs from 1pm to 9pm each day.
