Sassy diva Paloma Faith and vet­eran rock­ers Blondie will be per­form­ing at a unique out­door fes­ti­val this week­end. The mu­si­cians are head­lin­ing this year’s For­est Live dates at Bedge­bury Pine­tum, near Goud­hurst. Paloma first found suc­cess in 2009 with her de­but al­bum Do you Want the Truth, or Some­thing Beau­ti­ful? It fea­tured hits in­clud­ing Stone Cold Sober, up­side Down, and new york. Her sec­ond al­bum Fall To Grace, re­leased last year, has seen her chart suc­cess con­tinue with sin­gles Pick­ing up the Pieces, 30 Minute Love Af­fair, Just Be and her cover of InXS’ never Tear us Apart. Paloma will be ap­pear­ing on Fri­day, June 21, sup­ported by Mar­ques To­liver. Fronted by pop icon Deb­o­rah Harry, Blondie have sold more than 40 mil­lion al­bums since form­ing back in the late 1970s, with hits in­clud­ing Denis, rap­ture, Heart Of Glass, Atomic, Call Me, The Tide Is High and Maria. They will be sup­ported by 1990s pop group the Light­ning Seeds. Tick­ets are priced from £32. In­come gen­er­ated from ticket sales is spent on im­prov­ing the lo­cal forests.
