Sassy diva Paloma Faith and veteran rockers Blondie will be performing at a unique outdoor festival this weekend. The musicians are headlining this year’s Forest Live dates at Bedgebury Pinetum, near Goudhurst. Paloma first found success in 2009 with her debut album Do you Want the Truth, or Something Beautiful? It featured hits including Stone Cold Sober, upside Down, and new york. Her second album Fall To Grace, released last year, has seen her chart success continue with singles Picking up the Pieces, 30 Minute Love Affair, Just Be and her cover of InXS’ never Tear us Apart. Paloma will be appearing on Friday, June 21, supported by Marques Toliver. Fronted by pop icon Deborah Harry, Blondie have sold more than 40 million albums since forming back in the late 1970s, with hits including Denis, rapture, Heart Of Glass, Atomic, Call Me, The Tide Is High and Maria. They will be supported by 1990s pop group the Lightning Seeds. Tickets are priced from £32. They were sold out as What’s On went to press but contact the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680400 for returns. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving the local forests.
