Heaven sent

North Kent choral group Cantiana will be performing a selection of songs on the theme of creation at St Michael’s church, Sittingbourne on Saturday, June 22. The programme, titled For The Beauty of the Earth, will feature John Rutter’s work of the same name, along with his arrangement of All Things Bright and Beautiful, and other diverse folk, country, pop and musical numbers, including The Rose and Moon River. The programme will be interspersed with piano solos and readings. It starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7.50, with proceeds going to church funds. Call 01795 886392.
