The first Strawberry Fair takes place at Brogdale, near Faversham, this weekend. As well as giving the chance to taste and buy fruit, there will also be a host of activities including interactive cooking demonstrations, advice on growing strawberry plants, and guided tours of the orchards. Children can have their faces painted, race quad bikes around a mini track and get crafty with some strawberry-themed activities. There will also be traditional strawberry cream teas on sale. It is open from 10am to 5pm, Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30. Admission is £5 for adults, free for children. Call 01795 536250.
