Wheelie bin race

Bin racers will be back in action at Hernhill, near Faversham, on Saturday, June 29, when the annual Three Horseshoes wheelie bin grand prix is held in the village. The road between the pub and Mount Ephraim will be closed from noon for the race, which has prizes for the fastest teams and the best-presented bins. After the racing there will be a barbecue and blues band all afternoon. This year’s race is in aid of Pilgrims Hospices. Call 01227 750842.
