Rat pack start summer fun

The Theatre in the Park gets into full swing this weekend with the One and Only Rat Pack Show opening the season. The tribute show to the kings of swing – Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr – is on Saturday, June 29, and will feature all of the trio’s best-loved hits. It is the first in an annual series of fundraising concerts taking place at Strode Park’s 300-capacity open air amphitheatre at Herne, near Herne Bay. In the next event in the season, jazz, jive and swing will be provided by Hullabaloo on Friday, July 5. The One and Only Rat Pack Show starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £15.
