The food and drink fes­ti­val is back in Deal this week­end after a suc­cess­ful in­au­gu­ral event last year.

Held at Deal Cas­tle seafront from Fri­day, Septem­ber 8 to Sun­day, Septem­ber 10, the three-day event prom­ises to be fun for food­ies and all those who just like food. It will fea­ture a range of lo­cal, re­gional, na­tional and in­ter­na­tional food and drink and aims to cater for the whole fam­ily, with a craft beer bar and live mu­sic stage.

The back­drop of Deal Cas­tle prom­ises to make it a mem­o­rable ex­pe­ri­ence. The com­mu­nity-fo­cussed event is free to en­ter and also has en­ter­tain­ment for chil­dren and pop-up kitchens pro­vid­ing hot foods.

Next up for food fans this au­tumn, will be the re­turn of the Tun­bridge Wells Food and Drink Fes­ti­val. The event will be held in Calver­ley Gar­dens in Tun­bridge Wells on Satur­day, Septem­ber 22 and Sun­day, Septem­ber 23. Mark­ing the end of Tun­bridge Wells Food Month, it fea­tures cook­ery demos, chil­dren’s ac­tiv­i­ties and lo­cal beer and cider on top of an ar­ray of lo­callysourced food of­fered up more than 70 stalls. Kids will also be able to en­joy hands-on ac­tiv­i­ties with the Kent Young Chefs area and the The Alive with Flavour Area.

The event also raises funds for lo­cal char­i­ties.
