Hot ‘n’ juicy at world garden

A hot and spicy week­end is in store at one Kent garden.

Things will be heat­ing up as visi­tors travel to Mex­ico via Lulling­stone for the an­nual Mex­i­can Cel­e­bra­tion Week­end re­turns to Lulling­stone Cas­tle on Satur­day, Septem­ber 15 and Sun­day, Septem­ber 16.

Delv­ing into his World Garden, plant hunter ex­traor­di­naire Tom Hart Dyke, pic­tured, will be lead­ing a Mex­i­can plant tour, with mu­sic to evoke a Mex­i­can at­mos­phere.

Visi­tors will be able to see the Hot & Spiky Cacti House and the brand new Hot ‘n’ Juicy House at 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

It’s not just the plants that will be get­ting in the mood, as the cas­tle mar­quee will have a Mex­i­can themed menu for the week­end, and there will be mu­sic too.

The new Hot ‘n’ Juicy House will show­case a di­verse col­lec­tion of cacti and suc­cu­lents mostly from the arid re­gions of North Amer­ica and of­fi­cially opens to the pub­lic for the first time on Satur­day, Septem­ber 15.
