James on a journey of joy

Singer James Morrison is strumming his way through his greatest hits on tour

-

James Morrison is strapping on his guitar and stepping onto the stage for the first time in almost three years.

The chart-topping singersongwriter is heading out on a bumper 22-date UK tour, bringing his biggest hits to venues across the country.

The tour will see James performing some of his unforgettable top ten tunes. Fans can expect to hear the singer’s best-known songs, including breakthrough single You Give Me Something, Wonderful World and Broken Strings.

“It’s been way too long since I saw you all and I’m so excited to announce these special shows,” says the 37-year-old.

“Playing live is something I have really missed in the past year and seeing as it’s been nearly 15 years since I started, many of my songs over time have taken on a new life of their own: new emotions, new meanings and new feels in the way my band has played them.

“I’ve also become a better singer and inhabit the songs in a different way now. I wanted to reflect all of that on this Greatest Hits tour.” James’ debut album, Undiscovered, flew to the top of the UK album charts in 2006.

This early success was followed by four more albums and several artist collaborations, including Gary Barlow, Nelly Furtado, Joss Stone and Onerepublic.

“I am buzzing to be back in a room with all my fans sharing my best songs,” adds the 37-year-old singer, who will also be headlining huge venues such as Wembley and Kew Gardens on this tour.

“I can’t wait to see the crowd, it’s going to be amazing!”

James’ Greatest Hits tour will stop off at Folkestone’s Leas Cliff Hall on Friday, March 18. You can book tickets online, or call the box office on 08448 717 615.
