BROADLESS FARM, near Dover

During the Easter break, the farmers will be on hand to tell you everything about lambing while you meet the cute baby animals. Details: Good Friday to Sunday, April 14 at Broadlees Farm in Swingate. Tickets cost £6 and can be purchased on the gate.

FOUR WINDS FARM,

near Tunbridge Wells

This farm is throwing its annual lambing day with sheep shearing and sheepdog displays. You can see lots of newborn lambs and there will also be tractor and trailer rides, food stalls and face painting. Details: Saturday, April 20 at Four Winds Farm in Bidborough from 10am to 4pm. Tickets cost £8 and can be booked online.

FRAMPTON FARM, Dover

If you want some oneon-one time with the animals, you can book a private visit limited to six guests and spend an hour with the lambs, kids and piglets without crowds. You never know, you might even get to see the ewes giving birth.

Details: Select dates from Tuesday, April 2 to Sunday, April 14 at Framton Farm in Dover. Tickets cost £60 for a group of six and can be booked online.

HADLOW COLLEGE, near Tonbridge

The lambing weekend at Hadlow College is one of the biggest animal events of the spring. The agricultur­al college welcomes visitors for two days to see the lambs, along with the other spring arrivals. There will also be competitio­ns, tractor rides, birds of prey displays and a funfair. Details: Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21 at Hadlow College in Hadlow from 11am to 4pm. Tickets cost £12 and can be booked online.

LITTLE FANT FARM, Maidstone

Budding farmers can join Little Fant Farm’s Little Farmer Club this March. During the sessions, children can meet the lambs and also make their own cuddly lamb toy to take home. There will also be a trip to the Mud Kitchen where kids can get messy and playtime in the farm’s barn. Details: Monday, March 18 to Friday, March 22 at Little Fant Farm in Maidstone from 10am to 11am or 11:30am to 12:30pm. Tickets cost £10 and can be booked online.

KENT LIFE, Maidstone

If you visit this farm during the springtime, you can see the lambs being bottle-fed each day. These demonstrat­ions give visitors a chance to meet the lambs and learn about how to look after them. Don’t forget to spend time in the Paint-aPot studio and Teddy Parlour. Details: Good Friday to Sunday, April 14 at Kent Life in Maidstone from 10am to 5pm. Tickets cost £10 and can be booked online.

RARE BREEDS CENTRE, near Ashford

This attraction is celebratin­g the arrival of its lambs with an Easter extravagan­za. Take a walk through the lambing tunnel and then join in with the school holiday activities, from feeding the pigs to completing the Easter trail and meeting the Easter Bunny.

REINDEER CENTRE, near Ashford

During the Easter holidays, you can watch the lambs being bottle-fed and see the fluffy chicks before visiting the Reindeer Centre’s other animals including donkeys, llamas, goats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and, of course, reindeer. There will also be plenty of fun things to do such as the carrot patch, bunny trail, sunflower planting, a bouncy castle and animal feeding.
