Scott WHItING, of the oyster, was runner-up in the EIBA National under25s championsh­ips in Bristol on Sunday. He lost to A clipston, of Alfreton, 11-6, 10-8 in the final after seeing off D Morris, of Wey Valley, in the last four 8-5, 12-2. He had previously beaten Barking’s M Nullmeyers 8-4, 4-9, 2-0, in the lasteight and Rob Elmore, of city of Ely Bc, in the last 16 by 9-8, 5-8, 2-0. oyster ladies enjoyed a convincing win at Sevenoaks to earn 7.5 points in the Kent League.
