Angus spot on in Kent Cup

LOCOMOTIVE booked their place in the Kent Junior Cup, Group C semi-finals with a 2-1 win over Leybourne Reserves to set up a date with in-form Snodland Town Reserves.
JP Wright scored first and although Dave Middlewood missed a penalty and Leybourne equalised to take the tie into extra-time, nine minutes in, Loco were awarded a second spot-kick which Ian Angus successfully converted.
After their Challenge Trophy first round tie was delayed by 132 days, Sentinels eventually beat Bekesbourne 3-1 to earn a second round clash with Beltinge.
Jon Keene (2) and Nathan Hope were on target, while the hosts’ consolation came via Ryan Sergeant.
Wingham will travel to Sturry next after putting out The Plough 2-0.
