Dominant Bay collect maximum points

Herne Bay got their Forest of Blean League challenge back on track with a 47shot victory at Charing. They won all six rinks to pick up the full eight points.

Bay had a 68-shot victory in their annual trophy game with Hythe after again winning all six rinks.

In the second leg of their trophy match with Sandwich, the latter turned up seven players short. After some re-arranging, the match was played over six triples with Sandwich winning by nine shots and taking back the trophy that Bay had held.

Bay travelled to Deal with a 14-shot advantage for the second leg of their trophy match but lost by 31 shots, enabling Deal to retain the cup.

Bay ran out winners by three shots in a mixed match at Gravesend with both sides winning two of the four triples played.

The ladies played a four-triples match against Sandwich with Sandwich winning by 20 shots overall.
