Tim Dudgeon hit 70 to help Ash obeat struggling Littlebour­ne and keep their title challenge alive in Kent Regional League 1A East.

Dan Laslett took 4-20 and Graham Gould top scored with 39 as the hosts made 170-9.

In reply, Dudgeon and Richard Ewart (47) steered the visitors home in 28 overs.

Street End continue to lead the way after a 10-wicket drubbing of Selsted.

Greg Lound took 4-56 as the visitors were dismissed for 159 before openers Kevin Hopper (73 not out) and Sam Gransden (72 not out) steered the leaders home in 24 overs.

Whitstable 3rds remain rock-bottom after conceding against Worth.

Dario Cummins inspired Herne Bay to a superb 101-run win over Canterbury 3rds at Polo Farm to dent the city club’s promotion hopes in 1B East.

Cummins top scored with 63, while there were half-centuries for Tom and Sam Staunton, as the visitors made 230- 5 from their 46 overs. Shaun O’Shea took three wickets for Canterbury.

Cummins then took 5-30 off 12 overs to restrict the hosts to 129-8, with Luke Harris’ 28 not out the top score.

Frank Welch took 5-15 in 12 iovers as Sturry beat Brook by five wickets.

The hosts were dismissed for 100 and Kris Hubert (36) led Sturry home with just 85 balls bowled.

Bossingham are only 11 points above the drop-zone after losing to leaders Hythe Green by four wickets.

The visitors were dismissed for 127, with Damian Truelove’s 34 the highlight, before Green eased home in 19 overs.

Kyle Fiddler’s 56 was in vain for struggling Littlebour­ne 3rds as they lost by six wickets at Pluckley in 1C East.

Bourne were 133 all-out and despite Connor Langley’s excellent 4-33 off 10 overs, the hosts reached their target with 12 overs to spare.

Nonington were handed a walkover from Betteshang­er Welfare Colliery 3rds.

It took just 10 overs for leaders Betteshang­er 2nds to beat rock-bottom Littlebour­ne 2nds in 2A East.

Bourne were skittled for just 67, with Iain Barwick getting 27 of them before the hosts got home in quick time.

Street End 2nds enjoyed a six-wicket win at old rivals Herne Bay 2nds to move away from the foot of 2B East.

Allan Schofield took 5-26 after a smothering 9.5 over spell as basement-boys Bay were bowled out for 144, with Danny Beeson’s 38 the top score.

Bay made a good start with the ball in reply but Dereck Hart hit an unbeaten 82 to guide his side home almost single-handedly in 23 overs.

Ash suffered an eight-wicket defeat at home to leaders St Margarets.
