Drivers caught in safety campaign
Police warned 22 drivers for committing traffic offences during a district-wide road safety operation.
PCSOS, special constables and fire crews were deployed at four spots where speeding and dangerous driving have been highlighted.
Offences committed included using a mobile phone while driving, not wearing a seatbelt and speeding. One motorist caught doing 57mph in a 40mph zone on the old Thanet Way at Herne Bay was sent on a speed awareness course.
