Trapped driver saved from dyke

A woman was rescued by fire crews after crashing her car into a dyke on Saturday morning.

Firefighters were called to Grove Road in Preston shortly after 9am and used a ladder to reach the woman, who was trapped inside. Two fire engines, police and ambulance crews attended and the woman was treated by paramedics.
